A Journey Through Wildlife & Culture

Experience the perfect blend of wildlife adventure and cultural immersion on this unique 3-day safari. Journey from the tropical paradise of Zanzibar to the wild plains of Mikumi National Park, where elephants, lions, giraffes, and zebras roam freely. Connect with the Maasai people, learn about their traditions, and witness their vibrant dances and storytelling. This adventure combines modern train travel with authentic safari experiences and cultural encounters.

Day 1
Zanzibar → Dar es Salaam → Morogoro → Maasai Village → Mikumi National Park

Early morning at 07:00 AM, depart Zanzibar by ferry to Dar es Salaam, arriving at approximately 08:30 AM. Upon arrival, you will be met by our guide and transferred to the SGR train station.

09:50 AM → SGR train departs Dar es Salaam to Morogoro

11:45 AM → Arrival at Morogoro SGR station

From Morogoro, drive to Mikumi town for lunch and a short rest.

At around 04:00 PM, proceed to a nearby Maasai Village, where you will experience traditional Maasai culture, dances, lifestyle, and storytelling.

After the cultural visit, continue to Mikumi National Park for registration at the park gate, followed by an afternoon game drive until sunset.

After sunset, drive to your accommodation for refreshment, dinner, a short safari briefing, and overnight stay.

Day 2
Mikumi National Park → Full Day Game Drive

After an early breakfast at 06:30 AM, depart for a full-day game drive inside Mikumi National Park.

Spend the day exploring the park's rich wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and a variety of bird species. A packed or lodge lunch will be served inside the park.

Continue game viewing in the afternoon until sunset, then return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight rest.

Overnight: Camp Bastian (Outside Mikumi National Park)
Day 3
Mikumi → Morogoro → Dar es Salaam → Zanzibar

Early morning breakfast, followed by transfer to Morogoro SGR station.

SGR train departs Morogoro to Dar es Salaam.

Upon arrival in Dar es Salaam, you will be transferred to the ferry terminal.

Take the ferry back to Zanzibar, marking the end of the tour.
